eBook FAQ
General eBook and Digital Material FAQs
eBooks are digital versions of textbooks available via the purchase of a redemption code. Digital Materials are supplementary learning material used to support classroom instruction.
A redemption code is a key that will allow you to use a digital resource. It can unlock a variety of services, including but not limited to, eBooks, supplementary videos, readings, and homework submission forms. The services provided vary by code, and are listed in the description of the product at the time of purchase.
By purchasing eBooks, you can save up to 50% on your book! eBooks are also environmentally friendly, and prevent you from having to carry around heavy textbooks.
Both can be purchased online or in-store. To purchase eBooks or Digital Materials online, use the "Search by Class" tool to see which textbooks are required for your class. If an eBook version of your text is available, it will be shown there.
To purchase eBooks or Digital Materials in-store, take note of the title or ISBN before talking to a cashier. You can also take a picture of the shelf tag to ensure you are buying the correct item.
Note that it's important to use your school email address when making purchases so the purchased content is linked to your account.
Restrictions, if any, will be detailed in the email sent with your redemption code. eBooks and Digital Materials are generally available for a minimum of 90 days, with a maximum of lifetime access.

An eBook is the digital version of a textbook. An access code is a course-specific password used to gain access to course content online, such as from MindTap, MyLab, or WileyPlus. This often includes eBooks, practice exams, videos, and course assignments, but each one varies.
Each eBook and access code is unique and can only be used by one person.
If your instructor has requested additional learning material access for the class, they will be included with the eBook and the physical textbook. Feel free to pick the format that works best for you!
